How Do I Start?
Creating a Class
  1. Go to the site: http://www.essentialmath.ocde.us
  2. Click on the tab Log In located at the top of the screen.
  3. Type in your User Id and Password, then click Login.
  4. Click on the Class Maint tab.
  5. Click on Add New Class.
  6. Under the section Class Name, type what the class will be called. Press Update.
  7. To add another class, click on Add New Class.
  8. Continue process until all classes are created.
Adding Students to Your Class
  1. Go to the site: http://www.essentialmath.ocde.us
  2. Click on the tab Log In located at the top of the screen.
  3. Type in your User Id and Password, then click Login.
  4. Click on the Student Profile tab.
  5. Use the scroll down Class menu to choose which class the student will be a part of. Press Search.
  6. If there are no existing student records, fill in the information. If students have already been added, click on Add New Student, then fill in the information. (NOTE: you do not need an e-mail address for the students)
  7. Click on Save to record the data.
  8. To add another student, click on Add Next.
  9. Continue process until all students have been added.
Deleting/Editing Students In a Class
  1. Go to the site: http://www.essentialmath.ocde.us
  2. Click on the tab Log In located at the top of the screen.
  3. Type in your User Id and Password, then click Login.
  4. Click on the Student Profile tab.
  5. Use the scroll down Class menu to choose which class you want to delete/edit a student. Press Search.
  6. You will see a list of students and the words Edit and Remove next to those names. If you click Remove, the record will be deleted (repeat process to continue removing students). If you click Edit, type the changes and click Update (repeat process to continue editing students).
